Burke park

Burke park is a local community park located in Dane County. When we first moved here in January 2017 we enjoyed the gravel trail, it’s 0.78 mi loop, and can be completed within 45 min with a toddler pace. There is a great playground as well as toy train area that kids can play in, there is also a picturesque island and covered bridge. Most local photographer use the are for a photo shoot so it gets really busy in the afternoon in the summer with weddings.

This park is really amazing, Hills, tall trees, hiking/ ski trails wind through woods and prairie. The pond filled with fish. Tall hill over the pond.Burke park is stroller friendly and has a Wheelchair accessible entrance.

Great for hosting any kinds of events since it has 2 restrooms and a shelter.I highly recommend this park for the families who enjoy great easy outdoors.
