A Serenity-filled Getaway

Our visit to Willow River State Park in the spring left us mesmerized by its natural beauty. Despite the snow-packed trails, our 2-mile loop hike was filled with adventure. We strolled through the pine and birch trees, and the sight of the frozen waterfall was magical. If you love snowshoeing, you still have a chance to enjoy the winter wonderland.

Hiking at Willow Falls

Our hike was an opportunity to relish the tranquil environment, free from the usual crowds that can dominate other parks. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks was music to our ears, and we paused to soak it all in. We have camped in this park before but never really explored trails; we usually walk to the falls and head back to the campsite.

Fun for the Whole Family

We captured stunning photos and videos that we know will remain a cherished memory of our time at Willow River State Park. Willow River State Park caters to families with young children, offering a playground, a swimming beach, and a nature center where kids can interact and learn about the local flora and fauna.
