🌸 International Women’s Day | Cold Plunge & Sauna Hike

Welcome, and thank you so much for being here.
I am beyond excited to host this event, and honestly, it comes from the heart. I am someone who has always been deeply inspired by women, and wherever I go in life, I find myself surrounded by incredible international women. Women from different countries, different cultures, and different backgrounds, and every single one of them has something beautiful to offer.
That is exactly why I felt called to create this space. Because I truly believe we are stronger together. We need to support one another, share our stories, celebrate our differences, and keep spreading the love. There is so much we can learn from each other about life, about strength, about the world, and friendships born on a trail have a way of lasting a lifetime.

⚠️ Important Disclaimer

This is a public community event organized to celebrate International Women’s Day. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:
∙You are hiking at your own risk.
∙The organizer is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur during the hike, the cold plunge, the sauna, or while traveling to or from the event.
∙Please come prepared — proper footwear, layers, water, snacks, and a first aid kit are strongly recommended.

🎒 What to Bring & How to Prepare

Trail conditions require you to come fully prepared. Here’s what we strongly encourage:
  • Hiking poles — highly recommended for this terrain and distance
  • Waterproof hiking boots or trail shoes — a must
  • Plenty of water — more than you think you need
  • Snacks & fuel — energy bars, trail mix, a real lunch
  • Layers — weather in Wisconsin can shift fast
  • Swimwear for the cold plunge & sauna after
  • A towel and a dry change of clothes
  • First aid essentials
And perhaps most importantly: get a good night’s sleep before this hike. 13.3 miles is no small feat — respect the distance and show up rested and ready.

💜 Who Is This For?

This event is designed for experienced hikers. With 15 miles and 1,650 ft of elevation gain, this trail demands endurance and trail fitness — please be honest with yourself about your level before signing up.
That said, if you’re training for a summer expedition or looking to push your limits, this is the perfect training hike to add to your prep. Challenge yourself, test your gear, and see what you’re made of.
And beyond the trail itself, this is a rare chance to connect with women from all across Wisconsin who share this lifestyle. Women who wake up early, hit the trail, and live boldly. Come ready to make friends, share stories, and find your people.
To every woman who shows up for herself — this hike is for you.

Happy International Women’s Day. See you on the trail. 🌿

Regards
