Women’s Hiking Adventure at Devil’s Lake State Park – November 23

Hey ladies! I’m inviting you to a hike just for adult women on November 23, starting at 7:00 AM. We’ll meet at the south entrance of Devil’s Lake State Park for a fun and beautiful hike.

We will hike about 6-7 miles around Devil’s Lake State Park. We will start on the south side and walk to the CCC to see Devil’s Doorway. Then, we will go down the boulders to see Balance Rock. After that, we’ll take on the Grottos trail, the most challenging part, and climb to the top. Finally, we’ll follow the Ice Age Trail (IAT) back to the north side and walk along the lake to our parking lot.

What to Bring:

• A good attitude!
• At least 3 liters of water to stay hydrated.
• A snack to keep your energy up.
• Water-resistant hiking boots.
• Rain gear, just in case!
• Since it’s hunting season, please wear orange if you have it.
• Puppies are allowed
• Dress for the weather. Here is some of my favorite gear from Amazon—it’s expected to be in the mid-40s.

Important Note:

All vehicles require a Wisconsin state park sticker to park, so make sure you have one before you arrive.

After the Hike:
We’ll celebrate at Balanced Rock Winery, a great place to relax and share our favorite hiking moments; puppies are allowed on the patio.

This hike is a chance for women to connect and enjoy nature together. So grab your gear, and let’s make some great memories!
