Mars Cheese Castle Tour: Add this to your list of things to do in Wisconsin.

Completing a bucket list item is always a thrilling experience. We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Cheese Castle, which was truly unique. Although it required a long drive, it was worth it.

The castle’s exterior is imposing and unmistakably authentic. Armani was delighted to be there. Interestingly, the castle has two entrances – the main entrance and a side entrance leading to the tavern.

As you enter the Cheese Castle, watch for signs directing you to different sections and spot the cheese mouse hiding in the corner to your right. At this point, you must decide whether to explore or eat first. Our family chose to head straight to the deli, where we enjoyed some delicious fresh grilled cheese, and we skipped the tavern, where many people were seen chilling and dining.

We begin our tour at the cheese store, where we can sample different types of cheese. The store offers cheese tastings throughout the area, and while we recognize some of the cheeses from grocery stores, others are entirely new to us. With numerous options available, we can personalize our tasting experience to suit our preferences.

Does that face look like someone who loves cheese curds? Yes, please give this girl cheese; it makes her happy; this is when you will see her roll her eyes!

It is such a beautiful castle inside that the little ones feel like kings and princesses; they have crowns and crayons by the deli for the kids.

I must admit this was Mama’s favorite room in the castle, importing wines from all over. and those cheeseheads on the table. Ugh……

Queen and king chairs inside the cheese castle!

Real cheesehead

This is like a bit of heaven for the kids!

Make two rounds and come back. You will find different cheeses on the board!

Everywhere you go, it’s just cheese; they also have a massive selection of local beer.

Overall, our visit to the Cheese Castle was an enjoyable experience for the entire family. We had a delicious grilled cheese lunch and could sample various cheeses. The bakery had an indulgent selection of treats, including fresh Danish kringle, fudge, and desserts. A trip to Wisconsin is incomplete without trying Danish kringle, so we stocked up and froze some for later. I highly recommend visiting the Cheese Castle for a fun and family-friendly experience.
